The power within

Hey folks,

Today, we have a....8 minute blog. (I woke up late.)

The bible reading is from Ephesians 3:14-21 (I would read this if I were you. It's pretty ballin' stuff.)

So, it is basically a prayer that Paul writes to the Ephesians encouraging them and asking that God would inhabit their lives from the inside out. He mentions things like "strengthen you with power through the Spirit in your inner being"(vs 16) and "that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God" (vs 19) and "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us"(vs 20). All these sound like extremely encouraging words, but the reason they caught my attention is how much God wants us to be His through the most natural way: by taking up His spirite/personality.

The latter verse (vs. 20) was exceptionally intriguing because I had heard this verse several times before, but it just clicked that all the "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" is done through His people: the power that we have, the one He's given us.

It's soooo crazy to realize just how much God wants to use us (though we are broken vessels) to do great things on His behalf and for His glory. So, we should let Him. Let Him abide within us and we should embrace the power that resides within us, because God has given it to us so that we can make moments in the lives of those around us.
